Jeff leads the team at Platts that monitors the dynamic North American gasoline and light ends market, including naphtha and natural gas liquids. His group produces several key price assessments, including that of US Gulf Coast unleaded 87 gasoline. Jeff has covered US gasoline markets for three years and naphtha, blendstocks, and vacuum gasoil for one year. Prior to joining Platts, Jeff reported on business, sports, crime and general news at outlets including the Associated Press and the Houston Chronicle, where he managed the news content of a website with 3 million visits per day. He was born along the North Sea in the United Kingdom, and spent his early years traveling extensively as the child of a US Air Force service member.

Joshua has been with S&P Global Platts for nearly five years, covering a range of oil markets. He first joined the crude team, spending about two years there before switching over to US gasoline markets. Before joining Platts, Josh worked for a newspaper in Port Arthur, Texas.

Wes is the senior staff member of Platts US agriculture team, covering the US biodiesel, dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) and Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) markets. Prior to joining Platts in 2014, he spent nearly two decades as an award-winning newspaper journalist and editor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Houston.
