Mary Hogan currently covers the Americas crude oil markets for Platts, with a focus on North American crude oil supply and demand flows. During her three years at Platts she has also focused on the Latin American crude market as well as global oil flows from the US to Europe, the Mediterranean region and Asia. She holds a bachelor’s of science in journalism from the University of Texas and is an MBA candidate focusing on energy finance at the University of Houston.


John-Laurent Tronche

John-Laurent Tronche manages the Americas crude oil market reporting team at S&P Global Platts, based in Houston. Prior to leading the crude team, John-Laurent managed for three years the Americas residual fuel oil and bunker fuel market reporting team. John-Laurent has also reported on gasoline, distillate, electric power and natural gas markets.
